ACUMEN'S "Eugenics in Society" Conference 2024
The Acumen Group "Eugenics in Society" conference held on the campuses of The University of Westminster and Oxford Brookes University saw Professors Marius Turda and Sarah Wise, present poignant eugenics research alongside student scholars, Francois Secco, Angelo Nicoladeli, John Mason, and Terry-Lee Marttinen, political and biological scientists Drs. Sophia Johnson-Sparks, Novella Bridges, Wilmer Leon, and historian, Dr. Shantella Sherman. The inaugural conference acknowledged the 100th anniversary of the U.S. Immigration Act, Race Purity Act, and Sterilization Act.
